Terms of Use

In short: Fox Player is a media player. It does not include, sell or provide any TV channels, movies or series. You connect it to a service you already have, and you are responsible for making sure you have the right to watch that content.

1. Acceptance

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Fox IPTV Player application ("Fox Player", "the app") on all platforms where it is offered: iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android phones and tablets, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV (Vega OS), Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) TVs, and desktop computers. By downloading, installing or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

If you obtained the app from the Apple App Store, the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If any part of these Terms conflicts with the terms of the store you obtained the app from, the store's terms take precedence for that store.

2. What the app is

Fox Player is a video player that lets you sign in to an IPTV service of your own choice using the server address, username and password supplied by that service. The app shows the channel lists, programme guide (EPG), movies and series that your service makes available, and plays its streams.

The app contains no content of its own apart from a short demonstration catalog. We do not operate, own, host, sell or recommend any IPTV service, and we have no relationship with the service you connect to.

3. Your responsibility for content

You are solely responsible for the services and content you access through the app and for having all necessary rights, licenses and subscriptions to view them.
You must not use the app to access, stream or distribute content in violation of copyright or any other law in your country.
Questions about channels, availability, stream quality, billing or account problems of your IPTV service must be directed to that service. We cannot see, change or remove their content.

4. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on devices you own or control, for private, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the store you obtained it from. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, rent or redistribute the app, or remove or bypass its license and subscription checks, except where applicable law expressly allows it.

5. Premium subscription and free trial

Free trial. Premium features are available free of charge for 7 days, starting when the app is first opened. No payment is taken for the trial.
Subscription. After the trial, Premium is offered as a yearly auto-renewing subscription. The price is shown in the app in your local currency before you confirm the purchase.
Billing. Payment is processed by the store you purchase through (Apple App Store, Google Play or Amazon Appstore) and charged to that account at confirmation of purchase. We never receive your payment details.
Renewal and cancellation. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it at any time in your store account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
Refunds. Refunds are handled by the store according to its own refund policy.
Restore. You can restore an active subscription on a new or reinstalled device from the app's settings using the same store account.
Where in-app purchase is not available on a platform (for example some TVs or the desktop app), the app may point you to an external page instead of offering a purchase button.

6. Third-party services and software

The app uses third-party services such as The Movie Database (TMDB) for posters and descriptions, and open-source components such as VLC / libVLC, mpv and FFmpeg under their respective licenses (including the GNU LGPL). Optional sync features use your own iCloud or Google Drive account. Your use of these services is also subject to their own terms. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

7. Privacy

Your data is stored on your own device. We do not run analytics or advertising. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Parental controls

The app offers a PIN lock and adult-category filtering as a convenience. Because the content comes from the service you connect, we cannot guarantee that all unsuitable content is detected or hidden. Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising what minors watch.

9. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or that every stream format, device or service will work with the app. Playback depends on your internet connection, your device and the service you connect to.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, content, subscriptions to third-party services or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for the app or subscription in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer protection law in your country.

11. Termination

Your license ends automatically if you breach these Terms. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it; remember to cancel any subscription in your store account.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
